Los Angeles:: Karen Dawson,, 1965. First Edition. Hardcover. Like New. FIRST EDITION, printed by William M. Cheney, engravings by Dan Taylor, binding by Bela Blau. This is the first appearance in print of drawings centered on the world in and around Dawson's Book Shop. These drawings were done by Tom Neal over a forty year career as a bookseller. Neal worked at Dawson's Book Shop for 30 years as a cataloger and appraiser where he amused customers with drawings in the margins of his quote letters.
