Light toning, content in neat hand. $500. * This manuscript details the administration of properties owned by the estate of the eminent Westchester County lawyer Thomas Rathbone Lee [1800-1860] of Somers, New York. The entries span a period of 60 years. The entries to 1889 were written Lee's half-brother Elijah Lee. The other entries, in unknown hands, deal with the estates of other members of this prominent family. Thomas Lee was a lawyer with a businessman with many interests. His clients included members of several prominent Westchester families, such as Purdys and Wrights. In addition to his extensive property holding, he had several business interests, such as the ownership of the Croton House hotel in Croton Falls.
