"This Indenture made this first day of August … one thousand eight hundred and four, Between Mary Sickles of the Township of Harleam Executrix, and John Adriance of the same place, Executor of the last will and Testament of John S. Sickles deceased of the first part and Aaron Bussing of the same place yeoman of the second part … the said Mary Sickles and John Adriance, Executrix and Executor as aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and fifty Dollars Current money of the state of New York to them in hand paid by the said Aaron Bussing …. Have granted Bargained, Sold, Aliened Released, Enfeoffed … and by these Presents do grant … unto the said Aaron Bussing … Those two certain lots of ground situate in the Township of Harleam in the Ninth Ward of the city of New York …" (Inventory #: 21480.10)
