[Abstract: A discrimination between strong and weak interactions will be made on the basis of a five-dimensional theory in which fermions are represented by eight-component spinors. The operators representing hyperonic charge and chirality are formed and it will be shown how strangeness, as derived from them, can give a measure of the strength of the interaction. The type of coupling is determined too, though this depends on the assignment of new characteristics to the particles.] MURAI, Yasuhisa. Theory of Field in a Five-Dimensional Space.
