The original orange illustrated wrappers have been pasted on to the front and back covers. Black lettering on the front cover. Frontispiece photo-portrait. The work is a memoir of Father Ludwik Bujacz's experiences in the Dachau concentration camp during WWII. Illustrated throughout with b/w photographic reproductions of Dachau and the aftermath of Nazi atrocities committed at the camp. Text in Polish. Soiling to the front cover. Covers slightly bowed, with light rubbing along the top and bottom edges of the covers. Damp staining on the interior front cover. Edges of the first 12 pages trimmed at the margins, with no loss of text. Age toning to pages. Binding in good, interior in good+ condition overall. Protected by modern mylar.
