Law library's blind stamp located on the title page. No other markings. This volume contains the first laws passed in Nevada. Contents include the Declaration of Independence; Constitution of the United States and Amendments; Organizing the Territory of Nevada; Enabling Act of Congress to form a Constitution and State Government; folding "Homographic Chart of the Nevada State Constitutional Convention Assembled at Carson City, N. T., July 4th, 1864. Prepared by Andrew J. Marsh, Official Reporter of the Convention"; List of State Officers; and Laws of the first session. Index located in back. Nevada became the 36th State on October 31st, 1864. It was the second state to receive Statehood during the Civil War. The other State was West Virginia.
