This thirty-fourth printing is from the same month as the First, indicating its tremendous, and enduring, popularity. The green polished calf binding is by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. A vignette of Christopher Robin is stamped in gilt to the front board, with Tigger, Roo, Rabbit and Winnie at the corners inside a decorative rule; inner dentelles are richly gilt; spine with raised bands and Pooh characters stamped in gilt in compartments; edges of boards rolled in gilt; morocco labels; all edges gilt. Illustrated throughout with E. H. Shepherd's drawings. The top of the front board is lightly sunned; stain to the bottom of the board, and the top of rear board. Still a handsome binding.
