This copy also includes a sturdy, very handsome example of the publisher's light-green slipcase and, even more significantly, a suite of 20 additional plates, reproductions of the paintings of Li Lung-Mien designed to accompany the text. The plates are titled as follows: Plates I-II The Hunt; Plates III-XIV The Lotus Club; Plate XV Laotzu Delivering the Tao Te Ching; and Plates XVI-XX Lohans.
