The erudite Hermann Knust, known for his scholarship, was interested in the works of ancient Spanish literature. This study of the book of Marco Polo is divided into 68 sections. The auction house of Felix List and Richard Hermann Francke sold Knust's personal library in 1891. This particular work was one of three published posthumously.
