The man, G. W. Lenon lives in Columbia Falls, Montana with his family on a Caribou farm. There are a couple photographs of the caribou with full grown antlers and after the antlers have been shed. Most of the pictures feature landscape shots of the wilderness around Montana with high mountains and streams. There are also photos of the farming community, one of which shows a young man wearing a belt made out of bullets. Another has a group of women fishing and wearing pants, usual for 1902. Some pictures are of the other men out working at a lumber yard and camping out in the woods during a hunting trip. The pictures of the interior farm house and lumber work shop are well-composed and aesthetically pleasing. During the winter there are several pictures of ice on the mountains and rivers as well as the entire family outside and posing around the house. An interesting collection of family photographs from a young man life in 1902 working on a farm in Montana with aesthetically pleasing amateur photographs.
