[6p.], 8.5x14 inches, mimeographed sheets stapled together at upper left corner, creased from having been folded for mailing; address penned on the rear panel is for Bob Kaufman, the African American Beat poet. The mimeographed text is faint in places but legible. Cover piece is a report by James Lee Pruit, describing the mistreatment in prison of activists who had been arrested in Greenwood, Mississippi during a voter registration campaign (female activists stripped naked while prison guards watched them, etc). Also includes a report by Tracy Sims about the 5th annual California Negro Leadership Conference. (Inventory #: 223610)
