Trade PB INSCRIBED ("Cheers!") and SIGNED by co-author Robert Anton Wilson on the title page. Omnibus volume of this enormously influential fantasy trilogy -- blurbed as "a fairy tale for paranoids" -- originally published as individual books in 1975 and first collected in this Dell edition in 1984, of which the present copy is a second printing from the following year. I couldn't possibly sum up this saga any better than Wikipedia has: "a satirical, postmodern, science fiction-influenced adventure story; a drug-, sex-, and magic-laden trek through a number of conspiracy theories, both historical and imaginary, related to the authors' version of the Illuminati." It's a seminal piece of conspiracy fiction, especially beloved by Libertarians (even though the books are pretty rude about their goddess, Ayn Rand). Wilson, who died in 2007, was, it seems, an infrequent signer of his books, at least to judge by the relative paucity of signed copies in the current marketplace. Signed by Author .
