Text profusely illustrated with woodcuts of antiquities (statuary, architecture, costumes, coins, etc.), many full page and folding woodcut plates, one of which is not part of the pagination. Cont. vellum, spine titled by hand. A few preliminary leaves reinforced with a neat paper strip at the top edge (barely noticeable). This is the revised and best edition of this important illustrated study of monuments and antiquities found in Brescia. It was first published in 1616.
