Illustrated with tipped-in frontispiece(?) 30 individual plates(two per chapter heading) and one large double page "tree of life" which includes all the saints and churches throughout the world. Bound in contemporary calf, raised bands, red morocco spine label gilt, short splits to head and tail, wear to corners and bands, early previous owner's names and dates, short closed tear to lower margin of first page.
