The Mount Royal Hotel still stands today, it opened in 1912. The hotel has over come two devastating fires, one in 1967 (in the oldest wing) and on more recently in 2016. Still a destination spot in the Canadian Rockies, this is piece of the hotels history.Breakfast dishes include "Crumpets ... 10", "Poached Egg on Toast ... 30", "Finnan Haddie ... 50" and a "Yeast Cake ... 5".
