A typed letter signed “Woodrow Wilson” as President on “The White House” letterhead. Wilson wrote to Missouri Senator William J. Stone about foreign policy. “My dear Senator: Of course I will be glad to have a talk with you just as man to man about our foreign relations. I will welcome the opportunity. I wonder if it would be convenient for you to come to the house at eight o’clock on Monday evening next? Cordially and sincerely yours, Woodrow Wilson”. Wilson is particularly associated with foreign policy, particularly with his “Fourteen Points” statement and his efforts to enter the U.S. in the League of Nations.
