Beverly Hills, California: Hill And Range Songs, Inc., 1950. Pee Wee King (1914-2000), was an American country music songwriter and recording artist, best known for co-writing "The Tennessee Waltz," which garnered much attention with Patty Page's version of the song. Much of his music introduced waltzes, polkas, and cowboy songs to country music. Signed by King and eight others, presumably his members of his Golden West Cowboys Band, on the rear cover. Signatures include King (also a facsimile signature), Chuck Wiggins, Bob Koefer, Gene Stewart, Gene Engle, Shorty Boyd and others. Pee wee King was killed in the same plane crash that took the life of Patsy Cline. With an 8.5- by 11-inch magazine photograph of the Golden West Cowboys laid-in. Quarto: pictorial wraps; 39 pages.
