Bound in full black morocco double ruled in gilt, slightly raised bands decorated in a floral gilt, lettering gilt, gilt decorated turn-ins, marbled endpapers. Baynard R. Hall was Indiana University's Seminary first instructor. After resigning in 1831. He later spent the remainder of his career in the east, working as a college teacher.
