The first English edition, with maps by Thomas Jefferys, of Müller's indispensable account of the Bering expeditions and of the Russian discoveries in the region, and originally published in 1758 as NACHRICHTEN VON SEEREISEN....The work contains accounts of both expeditions of Vitus Bering, as well as a significant description of Spangenberg's exploration of Kamchatka and Japan in 1739.
