New York: Viking Press, 1931. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good -. Dr. Seuss. The elusive 1931 true 1st edition of Dr. Seuss's first published book. Clean and Near Fine in a crisp, price-intact ($1.00), VG- example of the fragile dustjacket, with light chipping at the front panel's lower-edge (slighly affecting the lettering), mild chipping at the spine ends and faint toning along the rear panel's flap-fold.
