Harry Carey Jr. (1921-2012) was a distinguished American film actor best known for being a member of director John Ford’s stock company appearing in such classics as The Searchers, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Three Godfathers, Wagonmaster, Cheyenne Autumn, Rio Grande, The Long Gray Line, etc. He was in the cast of director Howard Hawks’ masterwork, Red River. Among other directors, for whom Carey worked, they include William A. Wellman, Henry Hathaway, Lindsay Anderson, George Cosmatos, Peter Bogdanovich, Joe Dante, Edward Dmytryk, Robert Mulligan, Andrew V. McLaglen, Burt Kennedy, etc. A long time friend of actor John Wayne, Carey worked with many famous Hollywood actors including Marilyn Monroe. (Inventory #: 15753J)
