The book is a monograph of the work of American artist and illustrator Drew Struzan. Struzan is know for his iconic illustrations for movie posters, album artwork and books. Among the artist's best known works are posters for the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" franchises, as well as other hugely successful media franchises and films including the works of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter's "The Thing" and "Big Trouble in Little China", "Star Trek", the "Back to the Future" series, "First Blood", "The Shawshank Redemption", "Hellboy", "Blade Runner", "The Name of the Rose and countless other films. His album artwork included covers for the likes of Alice Cooper ("Welcome to My Nightmare") and Black Sabbath ("Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"). All of these works and countless others are shown in this exhaustive and finely printed collection, including some double page fold-outs. The book also contains an introduction by director George Lucas, and the artist's biography by Jessie and Amy Horsting. The back of the book contains a list of works shown and credits.
