The original French edition appeared in 1768. Viaud was shipwrecked on Dog Island, off of the Florida Panhandle, near Carrabelle and Apalachicola, in 1766. His adventures include accounts of his capture by indiginous people, the murder of a slave, and cannibalism. Clean and tight. (Inventory #: 4679bd)
