Includes 157 biographies of significant historical figures from antiquity to Martin's own time, including his hero, Isaac Newton. Other subjects include: Euclid, Hippocrates, Thales, Edward Wright, Christopher Wren, Leibniz, Keill, Richard Mead, Dr. Nicholas Saunderson, and many others.
