An image juxtaposing two leaders, Louis Kossuth of Hungary and Louis Napoleon of France. Kossuth is shown at left holding out the Constitution of Hungary to an adoring crowd; the caption reads, "Kossuth having returned to 'Hungary' achieves the 'Liberty' of 'Fatherland' & is surrounded by the 'Blessings' & Enthusiastic 'Acclamations' of his Liberated People." Napoleon, at right, is running "to England" from an angry crowd while stepping on the Constitution of France; the caption reads, "Louis Napoleon after 'Trampling' upon that 'Constitution' which he had 'Sworn' to 'Respect', flies in 'Terror' from the 'Execrations' of a deceived & injured People."
