Some occasional soiling. 2 leaves, one in Volume 3 and one in Volume 4, have small marginal losses, touching a few letters of text. Still an acceptable copy of a rare piracy of one of the most famous novels of 17th century French literature. There are a number of pirated printings, all with the original imprint of Paris: Claude Barbin. 1678.
