2010. An original camera clapperboard used in the creation of the Dr. Who television series episode - The Eleventh Hour - which was the first full episode to star Matt Smith as the eleventh Dr. Who. A clapperboard is a pair of hinged boards clapped together at the beginning of a film shot in order to aid sound synchronization and at the same time record the shot number and the number of individual takes of a scene. The board lists the production name, the director’s name Adam Smith, the cameraman’s name Owen McPolin, the scene number, the roll of film number, the take number and the date of shooting. 11 inches wide by 9 3/4 inches tall. Very good condition. The Eleventh Hour is the only Dr. Who episode in which Adam Smith and Owen McPolin worked together. The story has Dr. Who crashing the Tardis into a Scottish village where he encounters his new companion Amy Pond (played by Karen Gillan).
