n.p.: Golden Cockerel Press, 1930. 14, (3) pp. b/w woodcuts.
Fanciful tale of a sailor saved from cannibals by the love of the king's daughter. #108 in a limited edition of 500 copies published by the Golden Cockerell press, notable for its limited edition, handmade books. A nice souvenir of fine press printing, but this press wandered into the maritime area with a few other titles, most notable of which was the narrative of the whale ship "Essex." Tanning on blank endpapers from old glassine wrappers, else a very good copy in original cloth over decorated boards. (Inventory #: 40806)
