This publication is to some extent the outcome of a meeting of the CASE group (Conference of Architects for the Study of the Environment) held at the Museum of Modern Art in 1969. "This book presents some of the work discussed in the 1969 Conference as well as work of more recent date, and it also attempts to establish the ideological context in which it takes place. Besides complete drawings and photographic documentation, it includes a comparative critique made at the 1969 meeting by Kenneth Frampton..." (Drexler). Two contributions each by Eisenman, Graves, and Meier, three by Hejduk, and one by Gwathmey. Illustrated with b/w architectural photographs, drawings and plans. Wraps with some wear along edges, particularly creasing at bottom right of front cover, and some markings. Interior with very light sunning along edges, and inside covers, not affecting images. Wraps in overall good-, interior in very good condition.
