Includes coverage of drug laws, an interview with Leo Koch, assistant professor of biology at the University of Ilionois, who was fired for writing a letter to the student newspaper saying "there is no valid reason why sexual intercourse should not be condoned among those sufficiently mature to engage in it without social consequences and without violating their own codes of morality and ethics", an article on James Baldwin's appearence in San Jose (the editors had hoped to interview Baldwin, but finding him busy with a Time Magazine interview, interviewed his personal secretary and traveling companion Ed Fales), and more.
