The text contains stories not found in the gospels concerning the lives of the Apostles. Agnes Lewis was a biblical scholar who discovered the earliest manuscripts of the four gospels in Syriac. Text in Arabic and Syriac. Library sticker on spine. Library stamps at top and bottom edges, inside front cover, verso of title page and beginning of book. Library bookplate on inside front cover. Binding with light wear along edges and yellowed a bit along edges. Block slightly age-toned. Wraps and interior in overall good condition.
