The "Paketvaart" Atlas of the Netherl. Indian Archipelago published by the "Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij" (Royal Packet Steam Navigation Company). Amsterdam - Batavia
Amsterdam: Printed by J. H. de Bussy for the RPSNC, 1925. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, about twenty pages of which ten pages are fullpage maps in colors, these interspersed with fullpage b&w illustrations from photography, softbound, an oversize oblong pamphlet in stapled 8.5x11.5 inch color wraps. The maps are vivid, the photos reproductions a little fuzzy, the cover is splendid: a wraparound in green, blue-grey and black on light cream cardstock. Item is mildly edgeworn with mild dust-soil and crimping; item has one semi-serious flaw: lower corner of rear corner has a small rough perforation, one inch long and an eighth of an inch wide, a hole that is duplicated on the margin of adjacent leaf (which is, recto, a photo with verso statistics, graphic and text unaffected). Over all a good copy. (Inventory #: 242860)
