Some old water-stains on the spine and four smaller spots at edges of upper wrapper, spine ends a bit worn, otherwise very good. First and only edition of McAlmon's second book, his first collection of prose, and the first volume issued by the publishing company he founded that was to prove such a major influence on American expatriate letters in the '20s. One of ca. 300 copies printed. Laid into this copy is the "privately printed" broadside, "From an h'English Printer to an English Publisher," which was distributed with copies of the book but is occasionally not present.
