This book is in a larger format than the French original of 1796. This is tantamount to a large paper edition of the original. Custom slipcase with morocco trim, patterned paper pastedown. Modern half red morocco binding. Condition: slip case with some separation of a few edges. Repair to joints. Some foxing on paper, but overall, remarkably clean given the paper stock used at the time in Italy. One long closed tear repaired, and a few shorter tear repairs. (Inventory #: 006547)
