This book is volume 3 and 4 bound into a single volume. Illustrated by Ernest Liebermann. There are twelve (!2) full-page color illustrtations, five (5) additional half page (and less) color illustrations, as well as numerous black and white illustrations throughout. Inscribed on the front blank end papers. There are fifteen songs in each volume, thirty in total. Some of the songs found within the book are: Wer hat die schonsten schafchen (Who has the most beautiful sheep), Des Mantellied (the Mantle Song), Wanderlied (Migratory Song), and Aufder Wacht (On the Wakes). Illustrated board covers. Front cover depicts a young girl wandering through the woods holding a basket of flowers. There is a young boy in the back ground, sitting on a tree stump playing the violin. Measures 11 1/2" x 9
