Dated September 23, 1926, on "Troutbeck [estate], Amenia, New York" letterhead. Addressed to Rabbi Solomn Goldman of Cleveland, Ohio. In response to a request to present a lecture, Springarn refuses and recommends Lewis Mumford. Included is a file copy of the letter sent which elicited this response.
