Descriptions and price list included. Minor wear, Very Good. The National Pipe Bending Company was founded by Hobart Bigelow in the early 1880s. Bigelow was a boiler and steam engine manufacturer and owned the Bigelow Boiler factory, which opened in 1861 and later moved to River Street in the Fair Haven area of New Haven. He opened the National Pipe Bending Company next door, with the former fabricating the tubes needed for manufacturing the boilers. (Inventory #: 23386)
