(b/w and color plates). Index.
Text in French. Richly illustrated botanical work depicting nearly all then known species of orchids and their hybrids. Text explores variations in orchids, the use of orchids (e.g. perfume), origin, cultivation, and regional climates. Each fascicle was issued with 3 glossy color plate pages. This is a good working set and, perhaps, a good set to framing plates. (Inventory #: 10176)
