Edition limited to 700 copies (printed in English), signed on the colophon by Hermann Zapf. In addition, Zapf has inscribed a preliminary blank, "For Andy Horn with cordial regards and affection, Hermann Z., 1965." OFFERED WITH: [Standard, Paul, compiler]. A catalog of 170 calligraphic and typographic typefaces, 20 of which are reproduced with facsimile examples. Inscribed on the title page, "for Andy Horn from Hermann Z." Both volumes are uniformly bound in blue silk cloth with brown morocco spine labels. Fine. In 1965 Andrew Horn was the Associate Dean of the UCLA Library School Program, under Larry Powell. Upon Powell's retirement Horn became the second Dean of the school. He ran the "printing chapel" teaching letterpress printing.
