Los Angeles: P Brigandi, 1932. First Edition. Original contemporary leather backed slip case designed for the cards.. Near fine.. 38 black and white stereoview cards with type-written legends pasted to the back of each card. Enclosed in a slipcase.
A series of stereoviews covering diving, equestrian, rowing, track & field (includes a night time view of a demonstration game of American football), and opening ceremonies. The type-written legends indicate that this series of views were not big sellers and that sets are therefore uncommon. This would coincide with the fact that the 1932 games took place in the depths of the Great Depression. (Inventory #: 20028)
