Calendars designed by Wim Crouwel. A collection of 13 calendars (published from 1957-1979 non-consecutive ) designed by Wim Crouwel for Drukkerij Erven E. van de Geer in the 50s-70s. The calendars and the printing quality are beautiful. They were issued to clients as holiday gifts to highlight the quality of van de Geer's work and technical capabilities.
These pieces are exemplary examples of Wim Crouwel's graphic design methods. Each one is unique in size and technique.
All the calendars and photos have been included in a beautiful new PDF book written and designed by Greg D'Onofrio and Patricia Belen of Kind Co. Also included are important process and reference materials related to specific calendars: four original photos by Cas Oorthuys, c. 1975; twenty-two original photos by Mels Crouwel, c. 1979; and a calendar designed by Jan van Toorn (Drukkerij Mart.Spruijt, 1973-74).
All items are very good, original vintage condition with light handling throughout and moderate wear visible.
