Glazed card stock with six oval cut outs at each head revealing the paint blocks on the rear inner cover. 16 pages of which there are four colored examples with the opposite pages having only three partially colored. Rare early twentieth century children's paint color book. While OCLC does record a select number of the Tuck and Sons paint books, all in singular copies, there are none of this book recorded. Tuck and Sons produced a popular series of paint-box books which included at least twenty color books for children. This one is number 3027. Three outlines partially complete quite proficiently. The paint samples used by the child are still in situ. Instruction on last page and advertisement for the Tuck and Sons series of books on back cover. Original decorative card covers a little worn down the backstrip, but in good condition.
