National Guest of Japan Entire Collection

A collection of twelve volumes edited by the Japanese Ministry of Education and Culture (Mombusho) and published by Matsuda Fukuichiro at Nihon Kokuhin Zenshu Kankokai (Japanese National Guest Entire Collection Publication Association, Tokyo) in 1916. The volumes are housed in a cloth-covered box with wooden sides. The volumes have blue and silver paper covers, and are bound with staples and glue. Some, but not all, images have tissue protectors which are not integrated into the binding. Some fold-out images.

Some volumes have splits on the spines, but the bindings are stable. Also some loss of material on spines. Age toning and age spots.
