by Roscoe, Lester M.
Essex Junction, Vermont: The Roscoe Printing House, 1961. Wraps. Near fine. A specialty travel brochure identifying overnight and eating facilities catering to the traveling public which are operated by Seventh-Day Adventists. In his foreword, editor Lester M. Roscoe notes that the directory was born of the personal need he felt over many years of travel, and expresses his hope that "it will prove of value to other Seventh-day Adventists who travel and wish to patronize those of like faith." The 18-page brochure covers the United States and Canada and lists destination alphabetically by state. A number of states and Canadian territories have no listed services. California appears to boast the most services, including The Compton Steam Baths on Rosecrans. Printed in black and white, with a few occasional advertisements. Original gray paper wrappers (3 7/8" x 9"), bound with staples. Scarce, OCLC locates no holdings. (Inventory #: 71750)
