Philadelphia: Mary T. Haines, 1970. First Edition. Signed by Claussen on the title page and on the dedication page by Mary T. Haines who, with her husband Robert B. Haines (deceased), were the last private owners of the house. Also laid in is an eight-page, illustrated program (May 31, 1976) "Lafayette At Wyck," signed by Charles H. Haines, chairman of the Wyck Committee. Wyck is a National Historic Landmark house, garden, and farm in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia that served as the ancestral home to one Philadelphia family for nine generations (1690-1973). The names most prominently associated with Wyck are the Wistar and Haines generations. The legacies of Wyck's prior owners- Quakers who represented the city's leadership in business, natural history and science, and education reform.
