by Dell, Floyd
New York: George H. Doran Company, 1926. Octavo, pp. [1-2: blank] [i-vi] vii-viii [9-10] 11-363 [364-366: blank], title page printed in green and black, original green cloth, Dell's signature stamped in blind on front panel, spine panel stamped in gold, top edge stained light terra cotta, fore-edge untrimmed, bottom edge rough trimmed. First edition. A novel of "radicals, conscientious objectors, and veterans in Greenwich Village during World War I and the early 1920's" (Hanna, Mirror for the Nation 968). Top stain a bit faded with small, faint water stain near spine, otherwise a fine copy in very good pictorial dust jacket with light wear at edges, small nick in rear panel and some rubbing to blue background ink on spine panel. Quite a nice copy overall. (#166580) (Inventory #: 166580)
