The books in this 8 volume set are all hard-bound in green cloth with gilt stamping on the spines The covers show some light scuffing, edge-wear, and light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. Volume I has heavier scuffing on the covers. The spines are all sunned, except for the 2 Volumes in dust jackets. The bindings are generally solid, but with Volumes I & III having cracked hinges, causing some play in the covers. The contents are bright and clean, with some page unopened. This set includes 8 Volumes, lacking the 9th Volume which contained the Maps. . (Inventory #: 76897)
