A recasting of the resurrection of Christ narrated in the New Testament, this novella is regarded by many as Lawrence's greatest work of short fiction. 96 p. with a color frontispiece and four color decorations by the author. Octavo. Original printed paper wrappers. Some sparse ink underlining. A clipped review is affixed to the verso of the colophon. The spine is moderately browned, with a vertical crease.
