Volume one is illustrated with a frontisportrait; volume two is illustrated with eight fold-out maps, five of which have outline hand-coloring. Prolific notations and underlining mainly in pencil, with some in red pencil. Interesting bookseller advertisement tipped in at the end of the text for Henry Cray of London; printed on pink paper..
