1930s. Original autograph signature of British diplomat, author, and historian Maurice Collis written in vintage fountain pen ink on a 4” x 3” piece of paper. Fine. Maurice Stewart Collis was an administrator in Burma (Myanmar) when it was part of the British Empire, and later became a writer on Southeast Asia, China and other historical subjects.
